Fort Wayne Multi Car Accident

A multiple car collision in Fort Wayne, Indiana at the intersection of East Washington BLVD and Lafayette Street around 1:00 P.M. Friday injured 2 individuals. Two drivers were taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital and one was not injured.

According to authorities a 2001 Mitsubishi collided into a 2008 Dodge Durango. Both lanes were backed up for about 45 minutes until debris was removed from the scene.

A witness that was standing at the entrance of the FT Wayne Inn told authorizes that the Mitsubishi was traveling at a very high rate of speed east bound on Washington BLVD when the driver apparently went through a red light. The driver the Mitsubishi collided at a high speed of rate on the driver’s side of the Durango. The Durango hit a third vehicle on the right hand side of the vehicle.

The driver of the third vehicle was not injured however the vehicle was damaged.

Authorities said that it not known if drugs or alcohol use played a factor in the accident.

The accident is still under investigation.

An accident in Portsmouth, VA injures 2 people, a driver and passenger. While the driver of the SUV indicated he was using his cell phone, whether he was talking or texting on the cell phone is still unclear. The driver of the SUV was not hurt in the accident.

It is still unclear of why the motorist went through the red light, however alcohol or drugs were not reported as the reason.

Clean up crews were called to a scene of an accident after one car collided in the back of another vehicle.

The accident occurred on I-75 just north of Sarasota, FL. Reports indicate that two vehicle traveling southbound on I-75 collided when one of the vehicles crashed into the back of a car after a sudden slow down in traffic. A witness reported the car that crashed into the back of the other vehicle was speeding up in the far left lane before switching over to the middle lane. When the vehicle ahead slowed down due to traffic congestion, the vehicle behind slammed into the left rear side of the vehicle; sending it into the far right lane of the highway.

The driver of the car that was hit, a 29-year-old man, was treated at the scene of the accident and was taken to a nearby hospital for further examination. The injuries are not considered life-threatening. The other vehicle that collided into the back of the car, a 33-year-old man, was treated at the scene of the accident and received a citation for reckless driving.

A 47 year old man and a pedestrian were injured following an automobile accident in San Francisco today. The accident happened just after 7:30 P.M. when a Nissan Altima and a Toyota Prius collided at the intersections of Geary BLVD and Arguello BLD.

The Altima was reported heading East on Geary before colliding with the Prius. The Prius was hit and collided into a pedestrian on the corner of Geary and Arguello. The pedestrian who has not yet been identified is said to have been crossing over Geary BLVD before he was struck and injured.

The Prius eventually ended up crashing into a light pole next to a Chevron gas station. The driver of the Nissan Altima was treated at the scene of the accident and the driver of the Prius and pedestrian were both rushed to a local hospital. Reports indicated both the driver of the Prius and pedestrian are in stable condition.

Both lanes heading East and West on Geary were closed for about an hour while debris was removed from the street. The accident is still under investigation.

Authorities in Dallas are still investigating a car accident that left a 27-year-old in critical condition.

The victim of the three-car collision that is in critical condition has not yet been identified.

Three vehicles were involved in an accident at the intersections of Gaston Avenue and N. Munger BLVD this afternoon, sending at least one person to the hospital in critical condition.

The accident occurred at around 8 p.m. at the intersection, which was on the local bus line. Police responded to the scene of the accident, along with firefighters and an ambulance unit.

According to a witness at the scene the three vehicles that were involved in an accident was an SUV, Pick-up truck and a 4-door Honda Accord. The Accord went through a red light and collided with the pick-up truck before crashing into an SUV.

The driver of the Accord was rushed to a local hospital and is said to be in critical condition. A passenger in the SUV was also taken to the hospital and is said to be in stable condition. The driver of the SUV and pick-up truck was treated at the scene of the accident.

Initial reports indicate that alcohol was not a result of the accident. There are no further reports at this time.

Multi-Vehicle Accident in Auburn Injures Three

Emergency units responded to a three-vehicle accident with injuries on Opelika Highway, in Lee County, Alabama. The emergency units began treating three victims at the scene of the accident. All three people that were injured were rushed to a local hospital and are being treated for injuries. The three victims have not yet been identified as the accident is still under investigation.

One man suffered a severe back injury and was complaining about pains in his chest. The second person involved in the accident was a female; she received injuries to her arms and legs. The third person received lacerations to the hands caused by an explosion of a windshield. All three victims were rushed to a local hospital and are being treated for their injuries.

Two occupants of a vehicle traveling about 500 feet behind the accident said a man driving a black sedan ran a red light. A red SUV traveling suthbound collided with the black seden while a car traveling behind the SUV crashed into the rear of the SUV.

The southbound lane was blocked while personnel removed debris and cleaned up fluids on the roadway.

Head-on Collision Kills One

A head-on collision Saturday, claims one life and sends two others to the hospital with minor injuries. The accident happened shortly after 12:00 p.m. on Charleston-Agusta road in Bamberg County, South Carolina. One motorist died at the scene of the accident and a man and child were sent to the hospital with minor injuries.

According to local authorities a pick-up truck traveling east and Ford Explorer traveling west hit head on.  Its not been reported whether one of the vehicles veered across the double line of the two-lane road and hit the other car.

Alcohol and drugs did not appear to play a role in the collision and the head-on collision is still under investigation.

I-68 Accident Results in Minor Injuries

I-68 Accident results in minor injuries but causes major delays

An accident on I-68 sent four people to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center after a car wreck Wednesday night. The accident occurred around 7:00 P.M. when one vehicle collided with the other, forcing; the impact of the crash overturned one vehicle onto the ramp of U.S. Route 220. Major delays have been reported.

Reports indicate that the accident was not life threatening. All four people were taken to WMRMC after suffered minor injuries.

Police indicated that the driver of a 2007 Nissan truck was struck by a 1999 Chevy coming eastbound.

The driver of the truck was attempting to pass when the vehicle drifted toward him; as a result the driver of the truck lost control and the two vehicles crashed. Emergency units responded and the driver of the 1999 was issued a citation for negligent driving.

Northbound I-55 was immediately closed while cleanup crews removed the vehicles from the crash site. Officers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
