LawLeaf announces major funding sources
LawLeaf is excited to announce we have secured several institutional funds for plaintiffs and attorneys looking to secure upwards of $500K+ for a single case. In fact, LawLeaf can secure millions of dollars of financing for a single pending or already settled personal injury and commercial litigation claim. This news is significant because LawLeaf is one of the few companies that has access to these types of funds.
Plaintiff funding for commercial cases
Over the last several years commercial litigation financing has taken a back seat to personal injury funding. There is a lack of funds available for commercial claims due to complex litigation processes and the inability to keep money out on these types of cases. While most lawsuit funding companies will consider personal injury funding on a smaller scale, only a select few have the ability or experience in advancing against commercial lawsuits. LawLeaf has the ability and experience of funding commercial lawsuits. We have the financial backing through our institutional funds to advance on most commercial litigation claims regardless of size. Whether you are searching for a few thousand or need millions, LawLeaf can help.
Some of the cases we are entertaining include but not limited to:
Commercial litigation financing for attorneys
If you are a commercial litigation attorney and have been searching for a funding source to help you litigate your case load, you probably already know funding is not readily available. Several years ago there were a handful of companies willing to entertain attorney financing; today the litigation financing environment for lawyers is almost obsolete. Due to a demand for financing, LawLeaf has made great efforts in locating financing for attorneys. We have partnered with large institutional funds that have the ability to provide millions of dollars to attorneys.
A fund may determine an approval for attorney financing based upon the following:
- Types of cases
- How far along are the cases?
- Do you have any cases that are settled or has a judgment been awarded?
- If you have reached a settlement or judgment, how long will it take to receive your fees?
- Do you have any cases that are going through the appeals process?
- What is the strength of your cases?
- Reputation of firm
- Experience in handling said cases
LawLeaf recommends whether you are an attorney or plaintiff, if you are considering commercial financing, contact us immediately. When contacting us please be transparent. If you are working with another company, broker or consultant, please let us know. It is important that your application doesn’t saturate the market as it can have a negative impact between funders. While we believe we have secured institutional funds that most companies don’t have access too, we also know if an application is submitted to the same fund more than once, it can have a negative impact on the approval process.
Unlike a personal injury claim, the underwriting process for a commercial litigation claim is expensive and takes time. If a fund believes you are shopping them for a rate, it is very likely they will pass on the case.

Many individuals that are going through lawsuits of this type are small to medium sized business owners, who are concerned about cash flow. By securing financing through one of our lenders it could free up cash reserves and allow a company the flexibility to continue business as usual.
For individuals who have filed a lawsuit against a company or corporation, it could mean the difference of settling less or holding on for larger payouts. At LawLeaf we too believe that when a person or company has been negatively affected by the wrongdoing of another person or entity they should have the right to seek compensation for losses. Equally important is their ability to claim fair compensation for their case.
When the economy is in a downward spiral as it is right now, litigation funding can make a difference. If you are currently searching for a company that provides commercial litigation funding, begin by applying online with LawLeaf today.
