Reports indicate that the driver of the van lost control of his vehicle on westbound Interstate 96. The officer who’s vehicle was sitting in a median was responding to a previous accident. Reports indicate the only person hurt in the accident was the person in the earlier rollover accident. The victim suffered a head injury and was immediately taken to a local hospital in Grand Rapids.

In the News
Research from the UNT reported that a ban on texting while driving doesn’t necessarily reduce car accidents. The research was based on data from HLDI by a comparison crash statistic prior and after a texting laws were enacted 4 states. California, Louisiana, Minnesota and Washington were the 4 states compared in the research.
While the research shows evidence that the ban of texting didn’t necessarily reduce the number of car crashes the statistics could be skewed. Because of the ban, there are less motorist’s that would admit they were text messaging while they were driving because it’s illegal and can obviously result in negligence and liability. Many researchers believe the number of crashes due to text messaging could be much larger than what the statistics show.

Top Auto Insurance Coverages
Auto insurance coverage is extremely important when filing a lawsuit. As with any lawsuit the ability to pay the claim will be the difference between full compensation, partial compensation or no compensation at all. When someone is injured in a car accident due to the negligence of another person they can file a claim against the insurer. The problem that some people may run into is being involved in a car accident with an uninsured driver, under insured driver or an auto insurance company unwilling to settle a claim fairly.
There are always instances when a driver is involved in an automobile accident with an uninsured motorist making it difficult to obtain fair compensation to pay for damages. Some insurance companies may carry high risk drivers and place them into insurance programs that otherwise would be unacceptable by other companies. There are states which only require drivers to have minimum coverage. Similar to uninsured motorist, those drivers carrying minimum coverage can also be a huge liability to victims of motor vehicle accidents. If you have been involved in a catastrophic accident the probability of getting full compensation from an uninsured or under insured driver is less likely compared to a fully insured driver.
Car insurance coverage can play a significant role in the amount of money you will receive from an accident.

Car Accident Lawsuit Cash Advances on the Rise
LawLeaf announces today a major increase in the amount of applications for car accident lawsuit cash advances. The number represents both the need for financial help as well as the unwillingness for insurance companies to settle for fair compensation. Over the last few weeks LawLeaf has kept record of plaintiffs searching for car accident lawsuit cash advances. Many of our clients were seeking advances due to low settlement offers and the unlikelihood of a case to reaching settlement before going into litigation.
LawLeaf has also seen an increase in lawsuit cash advances for already settled claims. While a case may reach settlement the claimant may have to wait several weeks or months before payment is received. As a result they will apply for an advance against an already settled claim. This type of advance is called post settlement funding.
Car accident lawsuit cash advances tend to provide applicants with lower rates due to liability. Because lawsuit cash advances are based upon the strength of a case and fault is generally easier to prove in a car accident, the rates are generally lower. The lowest rate tends to be car accidents that have already reached settlement. A car accident lawsuit cash advance against a settled case is considered post settlement funding and provides the lowest rates in the industry.
When LawLeaf receives a request for a lawsuit cash advance against a car accident our first obligation is to provide our clients with the best opportunity to receive funding at a competitive rate. We also put great emphasis in providing quick turnaround for each applicant regardless the case. LawLeaf is a leader in the industry because we put our clients’ needs ahead of our own. We provide great services to each client regardless of case type and amount requests. If you are currently searching for a car accident lawsuit cash advance begin by applying with LawLeaf today.
