3 northbound lanes on Interstate 5 in Seattle were closed after a fatal crash took the life of one motorist. The accident happened around 10:50 when a pickup truck rear ended a car on I-5. A driver that was involved in an accident on Interstate 55 was tossed from a bridge and died at the scene of the accident. Police reported that the victim Zelko Landup, was found dead beneath Interstate 55. A second car crashed into the scene of the previous accident and caused the victim to fall from the bridge.

Northbound I-55 was immediately closed while cleanup crews removed the vehicles from the crash site. Officers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
