Cell Phone Causes Two Car Accidents in Arizona

Two car accidents in Peoria, Arizona occurred Friday. The accidents are believed to be due to cell phone use. The first accident occurred when a driver of a truck swerved off a road and hit a power pole head on. The pole fell back on top of the truck. Reports state the driver reached for his cell phone prior to swerving off the road and hitting the power pole.

The second accident occurred when a driver ran a red light and hit a pick-up truck. According to sources the accident was caught by a traffic enforcement camera.
