One person was injured when a commercial vehicle slammed into the passenger side of a four door sedan outside of Los Angeles, CA. The accident occurred around 8 P.M. when a commercial vehicle crashed into a the sedan on Interstate 5.
According to reports the driver of a commercial truck slammed into the passenger side of a car. The report indicates the driver of the commercial vehicle was switching lanes when the car carrying a passenger was hit and spun out of control before hitting another vehicle.
The passenger of the car was transported to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries before being released. The driver of the sedan & commercial vehicle did not suffer any injury. While the accident is still under investigation it is believed the accident occurred due to the driver neglecting his blind spot. Reports indicate that both drivers were not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
