Georgia Tractor Trailer Accident

An accident involving a tractor trailer and SUV shuts down part of 404 near Savannah, Georgia.

Police along with County Sheriff Deputies and the State Patrol were called in to the scene to investigate the accident. Traffic was shut down temporarily as police investigated the accident and the accident could be cleaned up.

Both the driver of the tractor trailer and the driver of the SUV both walked away from the accident unharmed.

According to the driver of the tractor trailer he was going he was traveling around 45 miles per hour prior to exiting the parkway when he lost control of the truck. The tractor trailer tailed and hit the SUV on the rear passenger side. While both drivers walked away from the accident the rear end of the SUV was totaled.

There are no further details regarding the accident.
