Two people were injured in a single-car accident in Madison Wisconsin, when the cars collided early Sunday morning. A driver of a black 2007 Toyota, heading northbound North Park Street, failed to stop at a light and collided into the side of another vehicle.

According to reports, the driver of the Toyota was text messaging and neglected to stop at a stop light between the crossroad of North Park Street and University Avenue. The driver of a 2009 Mercedes was hit on the drivers side of the car.

The two drivers were treated with minor injuries at the scene of the accident. The intersection of N. Park St. and University Avenue was backed up for about an hour while crews came in and cleared the scene.
