Ohio Asbestos Ruling
The Ohio Supreme Court ruled Wednesday, October 15, 2008, that a 2004 law making it more difficult to pursue lawsuits over asbestos related deaths and illnesses which can be applied to cases that were in the pipeline before the law was passed.
The ruling means that it will effect tens of thousands of cases that were already being filed in Ohio over asbestos related cases. The ruling was a 6-1 favor.
