Philadelphia Car Accident Leaves One in Hospital

A woman was transported to an area hospital in Philadelphia after a head on car crash Tuesday afternoon. According to reports the driver lost control of her vehicle and collided head on with a 2007 BMW. The accident occurred around 10:30 in the morning and was a second of three different accidents within city limits.

The driver & passenger of the BMW where reported not injured at the scene of the accident. The woman who has not yet been identified was taken to a local hospital for further examinations. Another car accident occurred heading North Bound out of Philadelphia, when a car hit a median strip and collided into a park vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was reported to being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. He was later charged with driving under the influence.

The third accident happend a little past 11:00 EST when an automobile was coming off of Route 676 and crashed into an SUV. There were no other injuries reported as the result of the accident.
