On July 17, 2008, a 31-year old Texas Oilfield worker of Nabors Drilling USA, LP, was working on a drill site in Rhome, TX. The 31-year old Larry Mullins was crushed by oilfield equipment when a truck moving a piece of equipment suddenly trapped him crushing his hips and pelvis along with other internal areas of his body. An oilfield accident lawsuit proceeded and was filed by John David Hart in Fort Worth, Texas and Simpson, Boyd & Powers of Decatur, Texas against Fowler Transportation, Ltd. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Mr. Mullins and his family. Today it was announced that a $9.5 million dollar settlement has been reached.
