Multi-Vehicle Accident in Auburn Injures Three
Emergency units responded to a three-vehicle accident with injuries on Opelika Highway, in Lee County, Alabama. The emergency units began treating three victims at the scene of the accident. All three people that were injured were rushed to a local hospital and are being treated for injuries. The three victims have not yet been identified as the accident is still under investigation.
One man suffered a severe back injury and was complaining about pains in his chest. The second person involved in the accident was a female; she received injuries to her arms and legs. The third person received lacerations to the hands caused by an explosion of a windshield. All three victims were rushed to a local hospital and are being treated for their injuries.
Two occupants of a vehicle traveling about 500 feet behind the accident said a man driving a black sedan ran a red light. A red SUV traveling suthbound collided with the black seden while a car traveling behind the SUV crashed into the rear of the SUV.
The southbound lane was blocked while personnel removed debris and cleaned up fluids on the roadway.
There are no further reports at this time.

A man was killed and several others were injured in a three car motor vehicle accident. The accident occurred around 6:00 on Highway 31 in Huntsville, AL when three cars collided. It was reported that when emergency units arrived at the scene of the accident, the driver of a Toyota Avalon who has been identified as Larry Webster, was in critical condition. Mr. Webster was transported to Huntsville Hospital and later died.
The passenger in the vehicle, Nelta Weber, was also taken to Huntsville Hospital and was reported to be in critical condition.
