A three-vehicle auto accident caused delays on a segment of State Highway 805 in West Palm Beach Tuesday afternoon. The accident happened between Fern Street and Hibiscus Street which is less than a mile from Royal Park Bridge. The crash sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries.

Emergency units responded to the collision around 4:15 p.m.

The accident happened when a driver of 2007 Honda Accord was heading south on 805 when he crossed over into the left lane and collided into a 2004 BMW. The Accord ended up on the sidewalk near an office building.

There were two pedestrians that witnessed the accident. Both were being questioning.

The driver of the BMW was transported to a local hospital and was being treated for whiplash and injuries to his shoulder and back.

The accident is still under investigation.

Bike Accident In Miami Injures One

A bike accident in Miami, Florida sends an unidentified male to a Jackson Memorial Hospital. The incident happened around 3:30 PM when the bicyclist was crossing Bird Road before he was struck by a passing vehicle. The driver of the car stopped the vehicle and called for emergency. Miami County Dade officers where first at the scene of the accident. Reports indicate the rider of the bike was sideswiped before falling to the ground.

The rider was conscious when emergency units showed up. He was treated at the scene of the accident for minor bruises and cuts before he was taken to the hospital.

Police have warned bicyclist in the area to use caution before crossing congested roadways.

The driver of the vehicle was not under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

Two Car Accident in Florida Leaves One Injured

This morning it was Jacksonville police reported a 2 car collision on Route 95 South inside Jacksonville City Limits. The accident occurred sometime around 8:00 A.M. when an SUV collided with a four door sedan. The cause of the accident is still unknown. When the emergency response unit showed up to the scene of the accident they found one of the passengers stuck in the front seat of the car. The passenger of the vehicle who has not yet been identified was taken to St. Vincent Hospital for further medical evaluation.

The accident caused minor delays on Route 95. The drivers in both of the vehicles were not injured. Jacksonville police reported that alcohol was not a cause of the accident.

Motorist are warned that weather may have played a part in the accident. A statement was released that motorist driving through the area should use caution when traveling today.

Three men were arrested in Polk County, Florida after they were caught illegally dumping asbestos. Reports indicate the three men were caught dumping construction debris contaminated by asbestos in a swamp area in Polk County, FL.

The investigation which took place over several months prior to the arrest report there were over forty containers of asbestos contaminated materials that were being dumped into the general area. Investigations found that an environmental firm had dumped the contaminiated material into the swamp area.

The firm has since been order to clean up the dumped asbestos material at their own expense.
