2 Dead in Accident in Forth Worth

A wrong way crash in Forth Worth, TX kills two people. The accident happened on Highway 287 early Monday morning when a Cadillac and tow truck collided. According to reports, Jordan Brown and Christopher Brooking both from Fort Worth died on impact after colliding with a tow truck. The accident happened sometime around 2:10 a.m.

Jeremy Brown, Jordan’s brother was on the phone with Jordan when the crash happened. Brown told a local news outlet that he called his brother to find out what time they would be home. Brown said his brother told him they were on the wrong side of the freeway. Soon after brown heard the crash before the phone went dead.

When police arrived at the scene of the accident they reported the Cadillac went over a median and landed on the southbound lane of 287. The tow truck flipped and landed on the northbound lane. The driver of the tow truck was taken to the hospital with a broken leg and cracked ribs; he will remain in the hospital to have surgery on his leg.

Both sides of State Highway 287 near Riverside were shut down for several hours while crews removed the wreckage and debris from the road. There is still no indication of whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.

A North Texas woman was sent to shock trauma Friday night when an oncoming vehicle slid out of control and crashed into her car.
