Motorcycle Accident in Maine Sends One Man to the Hospital
A motorcycle accident in Maine sent 76-year-old Oneil Michaud to the Portland hospital with a severe head trauma injury.
Mr. Michaud is listed in critical condition at Maine Medical Center. The accident occurred around 12:00 when Mr. Michaud was thrown from his motorcycle and landed in the road. Further investigation reports a car was traveling onto College Avenue when the motorcycle going northbound struck the vehicle as it was turning out of a local restaurant.
The driver of a Ford Taurus identified as Larry Philips was struck by the motorcycle which caused the accident. The result of the accident also left the motorcycle in pieces while minimum damage was done to the car.
According to reports the motorcycle driver, Michaud is in critical condition.
Mr. Michaud was reported of not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
