I-68 Accident Results in Minor Injuries

I-68 Accident results in minor injuries but causes major delays

An accident on I-68 sent four people to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center after a car wreck Wednesday night. The accident occurred around 7:00 P.M. when one vehicle collided with the other, forcing; the impact of the crash overturned one vehicle onto the ramp of U.S. Route 220. Major delays have been reported.

Reports indicate that the accident was not life threatening. All four people were taken to WMRMC after suffered minor injuries.

Police indicated that the driver of a 2007 Nissan truck was struck by a 1999 Chevy coming eastbound.

The driver of the truck was attempting to pass when the vehicle drifted toward him; as a result the driver of the truck lost control and the two vehicles crashed. Emergency units responded and the driver of the 1999 was issued a citation for negligent driving.

Baltimore Dog Bite Injures 1

A Baltimore man was attacked today in West Baltimore. According to first reports the man was walking down an alley when a Pit Bull escaped from the fenced property and attacked the man. Baltimore Car Accident Injures Two

A report out of Baltimore, MD indicates two seperate car accidents within one day on Route 95. The first accident happened around 11:00 A.M. when a car coming off of a merging ramp collided into an SUV injuring one person. Reports indicate the accident was occurred due to cell phone use. There are not further reports of the extent of the injuries.

A second accident occurred on Route 95 North coming out of Baltimore, Maryland when a car crashed into an SUV. The accident occurred near the White Marsh exit and reports indicate the changing of traffic patterns may have been the result of the accident. 95 North and South near the White Marsh exit has been under construction for the last several months and has caused both delay and accidents. There was no further information regarding the injury.
