I-68 Accident results in minor injuries but causes major delays
An accident on I-68 sent four people to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center after a car wreck Wednesday night. The accident occurred around 7:00 P.M. when one vehicle collided with the other, forcing; the impact of the crash overturned one vehicle onto the ramp of U.S. Route 220. Major delays have been reported.
Reports indicate that the accident was not life threatening. All four people were taken to WMRMC after suffered minor injuries.
Police indicated that the driver of a 2007 Nissan truck was struck by a 1999 Chevy coming eastbound.
The driver of the truck was attempting to pass when the vehicle drifted toward him; as a result the driver of the truck lost control and the two vehicles crashed. Emergency units responded and the driver of the 1999 was issued a citation for negligent driving.

A car crash in Owings Mills, MD sends 3 people to shock trauma. According to local reports, 2 adults and 1 infant was rushed to local hospitals after a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday, April 6, 2010. The accident happened in Owings Mills, Maryland a town in Baltimore County. According to officials the two adults that were involved in the accident were taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. One of the victims was taken by a helicopter while the other was transported by ambulance. The infant was immediately rushed to Johns Hopkins Children Center. All three victims are listed in critical condition. The accident occurred in the 11500 block of Reisterstown Road around 2 PM when a van hit a utility pole.

A lawsuit was filed on Wednesday in Washington County Circuit Court alleging assault and battery by two Hagerstown police officers against a minor. Baltimore Dog Bite Injures 1
A Baltimore man was attacked today in West Baltimore. According to first reports the man was walking down an alley when a Pit Bull escaped from the fenced property and attacked the man. The man suffered injuries both to the arm and the leg. The pit bull got a hold of the man and was reluctant to let go. After repeated bites to the arms and legs of the man, the owner who has not been identified was able to get the dog to release the man.
The victim of the dog bite was taken down to a local medical center and was later released with lacerations to both his legs and arms. It has not yet been reported whether the man was on or near the property at the time of the incident.
This was the second dog bite in Baltimore this week, one which happened on Wednesday when a woman was bit by a stray dog.

A report out of Baltimore, MD indicates two seperate car accidents within one day on Route 95. The first accident happened around 11:00 A.M. when a car coming off of a merging ramp collided into an SUV injuring one person. Reports indicate the accident was occurred due to cell phone use. A second accident occurred on Route 95 North coming out of Baltimore, Maryland when a car crashed into an SUV. The accident occurred near the White Marsh exit and reports indicate the changing of traffic patterns may have been the result of the accident. 95 North and South near the White Marsh exit has been under construction for the last several months and has caused both delay and accidents. There was no further information regarding the injury.
