I-68 Accident results in minor injuries but causes major delays

An accident on I-68 sent four people to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center after a car wreck Wednesday night. The accident occurred around 7:00 P.M. when one vehicle collided with the other, forcing; the impact of the crash overturned one vehicle onto the ramp of U.S. Route 220. Major delays have been reported.

Reports indicate that the accident was not life threatening. All four people were taken to WMRMC after suffered minor injuries.

Police indicated that the driver of a 2007 Nissan truck was struck by a 1999 Chevy coming eastbound.

The driver of the truck was attempting to pass when the vehicle drifted toward him; as a result the driver of the truck lost control and the two vehicles crashed. Emergency units responded and the driver of the 1999 was issued a citation for negligent driving.

West Virginia Wrongful Death Lawsuit Filed

A man recently filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston, West Virginia. Mr. Hamrick filed a suit after after a woman who is identified as Ella Hamrick died as a result of contracting an infection in her leg while being hospitalized.
